Our Pillars of impact
Youth Mentorship
Cultivating Safe Spaces & Guidance to our youngest
We believe in uplifting the next generation by providing a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth under 25. In 2025 we intend to have a dedicated counselor—fully funded by Queerly—young individuals will have access to mentorship, mental health support, and community connection within a current or future SIGBI Certified Community Center. This initiative ensures that no young person navigates their journey alone, and they find answers and information, and get the tools they need.
Safe Spaces
Safe Spaces Certification: A Commitment to Inclusion
Queerly is committed to making Woodstock and the Hudson Valley safer and more affirming for LGBTQ+ individuals. Through our partnership with The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI) Safe Spaces Certification, we will provide funding and resources to local businesses and venues to implement inclusive policies, staff training, gender-neutral restrooms, and “Inclusivity’” initiatives—ensuring our town is a place where everyone is welcomed, valued, and respected.
Queerly has funded the Certification of both The Colony and Pearl Moon as SIGBI Spaces.
More information on SIGBI here.
Funding to SIGBI
Last year we were able to donate $5,000 from our fundraising efforts to help support this Initiative, that was established by Historic the Stonewall Inn. Not only do they provide Safe Spaces, but SIGBI provides funding for LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations in efforts to fulfill their mission of tolerance, hope and equality for all queer individuals.
Community Events
Community Magic Makers: Creating Unity Through Events
Queerly thrives on bringing people together through celebration, education, and just fun! Our cornerstone events—including Second Sundays, the Woodstock NY Pride Parade, and year-round gatherings—will continue to foster connection, self-expression, and LGBTQ+ visibility in a safe and inclusive environment. These moments of unity empower our community to show up authentically and unapologetically.
Local Support
Strengthening Queer & Ally-Owned Businesses
A strong LGBTQ+ community is built on a foundation of economic empowerment. Queerly is dedicated to bolstering locally owned and operated LGBTQ+ and Ally businesses by collaboratively hosting fundraisers, events and social gatherings, to bring direct income to them. We will continuously use our ALL media platforms to amplify their voices, and show our Queer support. By strengthening local queer and allied businesses, we reinforce the economic sustainability of our community.
Artists & Musicians
Supporting LGTBQ+ Hudson Valley artists
Woodstock has always been a place where art and activism go hand in hand. We are committed to uplifting and amplifying the creative voices of local artists and musicians in the Hudson Valley. By providing platforms, events, and collaborations, we help foster an inclusive and thriving artistic community that celebrates diversity and showcases the talent that makes our region unique. We are WOODSTOCK strong.
Keep an eye on this space to see some fun collaborations coming soon!
